Job Title: Support Manager
Office: Southmead Bristol.
Departments: Single framework service delivery
Contract: Full-Time.
Hours work: 37.5hrs/week (paid)
Salary: £29000.00 – £34000/PA

- You will be working alongside the Registered Manager and other Senior management team, enabling delivery of quality service to the people.
- Confidently managing provision of support to people in our Outreach, Supported Living and Day services with very good understanding of support needs for older people and people with Learning Disabilities, and related disabilities who may present with complex support needs.
- You will be both in the office and visiting all our sites supervising coordinators and checking in with staff

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Providing strong leadership and direction to teams across multiple sites.
- Oversee all aspects of the operation of the sites, including staffing, compliance and health and safety.
- Getting to know individuals, setting and supervising staff delivering support that ensures the individuals live their best and meaningful life.
- Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and empowerment, ensuring that each resident is treated as individuals with compassion, empathy, and understanding.
- Supervising quality of assessments, care planning, and documentation.
- Conduct regular reviews and feedback from clients and develop strategies to reflect comprehensive care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary professionals.
- Monitoring quality and implement plans for continuous improvement.
- Working closely with the registered manager and the business manager to review standards of practice and sustainability of our service.
- Coordinating safeguarding enquiries with relevant agencies and working to maintain our responsiveness and reputation.
- Building and maintaining strong working relationship with all clients, their families, commissioners, professionals and community partners.
- Managing service budgets effectively to promote financial sustainability.
- Ensure high-quality, person-centred care and CQC compliance.
- Oversee care plans, risk assessments, and operational delivery of service.
- Support the service as it expands into new locations.
- Support recruitment, induction, training, supervision, and appraisal to develop your team and enable achievement.
- Be a visible, proactive leader, including on-call responsibilities as required.
- Keeping records organised and complying with contract requirements, including CQC standards.

- A person with real get-up-and-go –proactive, providing solution-focused approach to challenges and changes
Must Have:
- Level 5 in Care Leadership
- Excellent English communication and people skills
- Knowledge and skills of using Microsoft office apps
- Full driving licence
- Good knowledge of CQC expectations and safeguarding
- Good understanding and possess skills to supervise positive behaviour support delivery
