Job Description:

• Working across services supporting vulnerable people in their homes, care settings, supported living, day centres, or outreach services as assigned.
• Supporting vulnerable individuals to promote their welfare and wellbeing.
• Assisting with personal care including toileting, bathing, dressing, bedtime routines, and ensuring safety.
• Assisting with meal and drink preparation and supporting with feeding as required.
• Supporting individuals with taking medication and attending health appointments.
• Carrying out household tasks such as shopping, laundry, and small errands.
• Offering companionship and helping older people spend quality time.
• Respecting clients’ wishes, choices, and preferences when providing support.
• Supporting people in supported living and outreach services to manage their homes, budgets, read letters, pay bills, stay fit, access work or college, and participate in community life.
• Encouraging confidence, independence, and life skills development.
• Facilitating and encouraging individuals to make choices and decisions in line with their mental capacity.
• Maintaining confidentiality at all times and carrying out other duties as assigned by management.
• Documenting care provided using recommended tools and reporting any concerns to management.
• Adapting to changing ways of working as required.
• Ensuring health and safety at work for both staff and clients and maintaining accurate records.
• Providing and maintaining quality standards of support and guidance tools for staff.

Salary: £25000.00 PA

Hrs.: 37.5hrs/week
